Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin is an American comedy writer, director and YouTuber podcaster and mental health advocate. Her previous job was as the writer at BuzzFeed Video, but she and her friend Gabe Dunn left to focus on the YouTube comedy channel Just Between Us in 2015. Raskin, born in Manhattan 20 June 1989, to her Jewish parents, was raised in the home of her father and mother. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California. Jamin Ben Raskin (born 13 December 1962) is a prominent American attorney law professor and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district since 2017. A law professor served as the prosecutor-in-chief for President Trump's 2nd impeachment hearing. Rep. Jamie Raskin has chosen not to seek Maryland's vacant Senate seat and instead will be seeking reelection in the House in the hope that he will be the chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac along with several other suburbs that are among the richest in Washington, D.C., are in the 8th district. Rockville, Silver Spring, as well as Bethesda, are among the most diverse and prosperous communities in this district. Maryland is one of the constituent states of America.
