Born on November 25 1968 Jillian Noel Hennessy is a energetic Canadian performer and actress who has been praised by her outstanding contribution to American television. The most famous of her works are her incredible appearances on American TV programs like Law & Order (where she captivated viewers for three season as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy has also showcased her talents as an actor in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the independent films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class in which she worked on her scriptwriting and co-directing muscles. Hennessy began her career in 1988, alongside her sister, as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. She appeared briefly in Buddy The Buddy Holly Story The Buddy Holly Story in Broadway in the year 1990. Then, in 1993 the actress stepped out of the world of musicals to enter the genre of sci-fi as the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. The following fall year, she was a part of the cast for the NBC sensational crime drama Law & Order in the character of assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. Three seasons of her character was well-loved by viewers. She left in 1996. Parker was in movies and series such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America for which she received an award of a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress. Parker received the Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her performance as Proof in the musical Proof on Broadway.
