Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder, was born on Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her the city she grew up in after her birthplace. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father was from the Jewish family Ryder believes she is Jewish. Ryder has two half-siblings younger than her, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder moved with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder began to be a committed read because they had television. Ryder began taking acting lessons at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983, when she was 12 years old. Lucas, a 1986 film, was her first major role. Ryder was only fifteen when she landed the role. Ryder experienced bullying at high school. Her hope was that her acting career would change this. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. The actress continued to chase her ambitions. In 1988, she got her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in several movies. Ryder was nominated twice for Academy Awards one for her role in The Age of Innocence (1993).
